Dear Community Members and Voters,
I am writing to express my support for the upcoming police and fire tax levy that will appear on the ballot. After serving fifty-years in law enforcement, including thirty years as Chief of Police, I have seen the critical importance of adequately funding our public safety services.
Throughout my career, I have seen how proper funding directly translates to community safety. I understand that no one welcomes added taxes, but I believe this investment in our safety forces is both necessary and responsible. I urge you to vote YES on the police and fire tax levy.
Respectfully,
James J. Cook Retired Chief of Police City of Highland Heights
